Season of Generosity
It’s a scary prospect when God calls you into missions. You have to leave familiarity and security and hope that this mad idea to move your family across the world will work. All these questions go through your mind:
Have we made a mistake? Will we fail? Will anyone support us?
Then the miracle happened . . . friends, family, and churches opened up the floodgates of generosity! Scores of God’s people got fired up and are partnering with us in prayer and support. We are blown away!
The overwhelming generosity of God’s people has shown us God will bless our mission in Japan. In a year full of uncertainty, so many people want the world to know “God loves you.”

Thanksgiving Update
What’s New?
In August we officially began itinerating as missionaries. Throughout the last few months, our family has been all over Minnesota preaching at any church brave enough to host us. Whether it was Patrick teaching eschatology, Kalyna teaching Japanese grammar in Spanish, or Levi teaching kids church, we’ve taken every opportunity to share our vision for church planting in Japan.
How is it Going?
AMAZING! We have been blown away by how generous and excited people have been to partner with us. So many wonderful friends and churches have joined us in our ministry. There is an excitement about what God is going to do in Japan! Thanks to this we are close to 60% of our budget raised! Thank you for your generous support.

Like so many others, this has been a tough time for our family. Living in lockdown world has been a challenge for us all. Our family has really missed seeing their friends at Vibrant Life Church every Sunday. It has been a blessing to meet so many wonderful people at churches all over Minnesota but the constant traveling has been tough on the kids. Please pray for us as we adjust to the itineration lifestyle.
Pray for Support
We believe God is preparing Japan for a mighty movement of the Holy Spirit. We know God is going to do something amazing in Osaka and the Holy Spirit is already moving in the hearts of the people. Presently, things are not going well. On top of the medical and economic issues related to COVID-19, CBS recently reported suicide rates have drastically increased in this season. Pray for a movement of healing and hope to flow through this land.
